Great
Beginnings in Homeschooling
Quite an adventure lies ahead for those who are new to homeschooling.
Are you ready for it? Have you laid the right foundation? A few solid
building blocks will assure success.
It’s a Wonderful Life...Isn’t
It?
Are you having more bad days than good? Are you feeling
frustrated, overwhelmed, disorganized and guilty? We’ve been there
too. Help in leading a more balanced life is on the way!
A Race to the Finish
The
high school years are upon you, and suddenly those early feelings of
confusion return. The miles ahead to the finish are so important.
Don’t stop now! A good strategy and a steady pace will win the
race.
The Women in My Life
Sugar and spice is very nice in the Green household! Having four daughters
(and now three granddaughters) has created an environment that has
been predominately pink over the years! Learn how dads can mold,
nurture and treasure these most important relationships.
Homeschooling for Eternity
Academic excellence is important, but God
showed us early on that this was not why he wanted us to homeschool.
Leading our daughters
into closer relationships with Christ has been our greatest joy.
Called to the Mission Field
God is calling so many families to Himself
through homeschooling.
Workers are needed to welcome, support and minister to their needs.
Have you been called to this? If so, what are your responsibilities?
Home-based Non-approved
Private Schools
Many homeschoolers in Maine
choose to form home-based non-approved private schools in order to
satisfy the compulsory attendance law.
Learn more about the history of this option, pros and cons, responsibilities,
etc. All homeschoolers should have a good understanding of legal options
to ensure that they have made the best choice for their family.
Marriage Preparation
from Birthday to Wedding Day
Persistent efforts
at good parenting ultimately bear much fruit. Our married children
and our grandchildren are now blessing and enriching
our lives in so many ways. Parents can provide training for children
at every age and stage that will make a difference in future relationships.
Make preparation for marriage a part of your child’s curriculum!
Developing
Christian Character through Literature
Books introduce us
to people and places we wouldn’t ordinarily
know. They make us grow. They open windows onto the wonderful world
God has made for us. Help your children to know and experience the
glory of God and His creation through good books.
Timeless Treasures of Hope and Faith
Our girls all received hope chests
lined with sweet smelling cedar for their 16th birthdays. In preparing
their hope chests, they not
only stored away treasures for the future, but learned valuable skills
and developed high ideals. Become inspired to begin this tradition
in your family!
